Back from a brief trip to a spring-like England to a windy Bahamas, maybe this climate change thing has already happened and Sussex is now hotter than Nassau all year round and why did the UK look like Switzerland with all the roadsides newly mown and narry a piece of litter to be seen? Is it to do with this strange power hand-over that would seem more appropriate for a banana republic than the mother of parliaments, is Gordon having the island spring cleaned to soft soap us all?
Well from my veranda here the answer is clear "Who cares?” what I would like however is the temperature to go up a bit, sitting in my thermals sixty miles from the tropic of cancer, I gaze longingly at the chimney's of the old houses in Dunmore Town. The Eleutheran adventurers understood this climate all right, get the logs in lads it's gonna be a cold Easter!
I am in the process of trying to book a small tour of the west in the summer, I will let you know how I get on, in the meantime if anyone else is feeling cold seek out the Hurricane Room video on this site. It was typical of the Blessing that the airline lost all our clothes on the way to Jamaica and we only had one set of togs for two videos. We shot the Delta Rain one the same week but all I focus on now is the beautiful house we stayed in called High Hope above St Ann's Bay. It used to be a British army sanatorium and has it's own plant nurseries and fruit farm, and most of all it's warm!
