If William says the recordings are substandard and asks us to ignore them, that is good enough for me. This Andrew guy seems to define himself only by his association with William...like a leech.

I am trying to play Uptown at home and I would like to know what is your chord pattern on that song, please send it to my email, thanks. I love that song.

Dear All

It is good to read the comments and suggestions for the set list, we are all looking forward to the gigs. We are hoping to play some shows in London in September and will let fans know where and when through
this site.

I will be playing a solo gig in Nashville in July, we will email details to everyone on our list.

I suggest that people avoid demos on the forum as they are substandard and at least twenty years old.

The new recordings are going very well and we will be introducing a couple of the new songs on stage this month.Has anyone visited any of the places on the likes list in the bio section? If so let us know and maybe send us a photo to prove it!

Best wishes from William

It's hot and humid, but I call it home. I remember a night in Tampa when I listened to your music (live at Skipper's) and danced a waltz. Please consider revisiting, I could use the infusion.
I will contact WMNF if your are interested?

Let's hear it for WT & crew going around the world filming and giving concerts. Because that would mean they'd have to do a sound track. And songs, too. Derived (being the meticulous masters of local sound and color they are) from place and people. And let's hear it for a "rain set" and an "ocean set" (hey KINK listeners) from the Pacific Northwest. I can hardly wait. Virginia [aka: Carolina]

William- THUMBS UP! It looks like things are getting better all the time, now that you're heart is back in the right place. I'm looking forward to my soul being succoured by the haunting melodies emmanating from your new songs. Be open to basking in our warm energy during your show here in Denver. I'd love to hear Singer's Shoes or Soul I Want live. Seize the moment!

Hearing from you personally, requests, and videos...William your putting me over the edge! :) Mmm, requests, where does a girl start. As always whenever I get the chance to ask you, Tony English or Denial. A little Dylan,Sweetheart Like You, maybe one more of those rare old Blessing B-Sides and how's about some Toots. Suprise us with something we wouldn't expect to hear. Also any chance of getting the complete lyrics for the Locusts album someday? My head is spinning, I love this new and totally improved site, "so laid back and fine, you blow my mind". Thanks for keeping us going William!

Hi William, I too am misplaced here in Cincinnati (I'm from Portland...the one who baked you guys Christmas cookies a few years ago at the Roseland)....please try to come here or somewhere close I WILL DRIVE to see you again. I agree with the quote from someone on the old message board when asked what his favorite Topley album was, he said "whichever one I am listening to you now" Can't wait to hear the new music!! Dear Everybody

Thank you for your comments, I will try and answer any questions once a week. We are very keen to play in Seattle, Portland, Austin and Boston, and hope to organise these dates and others for the fall.

We continue to search for Luke's bio, and look forward to reading it ourselves!

Thanks for all the offers of help, if you're a promoter interested in putting on a show then please contact Paul Crockford at pcm.assistant@virgin.net.

We have a new album almost ready, and are finishing off backing vocals, percussion etc. Some of the songs were inspired by the last tour (winter 2002). It may be that some of you may recognise yourselves in the lyrics. Taking in locations as diverse as Detroit, Marrakech, St. Ann’s Bay, and the Ritz Hotel, I’m joined by the usual wonderful musicians and some surprise guests.

I have just got back from a song writing retreat in rural Devon and look forward to showcasing these mellow rustic tunes. I’ve also heard from a friend in Jamaica who tells me they are playing our music on the radio there.

Under a pile of paperwork at Paul’s office we found the original 5 Blessing videos of Highway 5, Flames, Hurricane Room, Delta Rain and Soul Love. We hope to offer these as limited edition signed DVD’s at the concerts in June.

Let us know if you have any bizarre requests from the catalogue for the upcoming shows, and we will try and remember them in rehearsal.

With best wishes

William
